Additionally, you can also use tools like logmein, R-HUB remote support servers, teamviewer etc. for all your remote access needs. These are easy to use and work well.

[6.6.1] Windows Remote Assistance Client Functionality?

I use SmartCode VNC Manager everyday for work and love it. I have several roles in my current position and have just implemented Windows Remote Assistance to try and make some of the desktop support issues easier to deal with. I was wondering if there were any plans to implement the functionality of the Windows Remote Assistance client into VNC Manager (Windows 7 - C:\Windows\system32\msra.exe). It looks to be a type of Windows Remote Desktop. It would be a huge help especially with integration into Active Directory.

Thanx,

Douglas Bowie
RE: [6.6.1] Windows Remote Assistance Client Functionality?

It's comming in the 6.6.1

RE: [6.6.1] Windows Remote Assistance Client Functionality?

No problem. It will be possible to assign settings to AD computers. In case if computer gets moved between OUs, the VNC Manager will still be able to access the computer's settings. This is just one of the "cool" features that we are planning to implement in the v6.0.
