Hi Yury,
I try to use the Send Console Message since a while. No way.
Send via msg.exe : Error 5 getting session names.
If I use the logon credential option : Send Status : The stub received bad data

Any idea ?
kind regards,
Pierre

Hi Pierre, if you would try to use msg.exe from the command line, does it work or you are getting the same error?

Hello Yury,
My last replay is maybe not accepted ...I don't see it here.
I found a way to have it working under your Psexec like command
%SystemRoot%\Sysnative\msg.exe /SERVER: * /TIME:180 /v /w "Message"
This command show "Message" for 180 sec and is waiting for an answer.
Hope it will help some other users.
It maybe can help you to modify your send to console menu.
Kind regards,
Pierre

One more info
on some computers the msg.exe is under system32 and not found in Sysnative.
In this case here is the command : %SystemRoot%\system32\msg.exe /SERVER: * /TIME:180 /v /w "YourMessage" to have the same result.
Best regards,
Pierre
