After you upgraded to Windows 10 and under some other rare circumstances, when you attempt to start SmartCode VNC Manager you may receive the following error:

A valid license could not be obtained for 'SmartCode VNC Manager (Enterprise Edition)'. Please contact SmartCode Solutions for assistance.
DETAILS
No licenses found in the suggestion cache.
No compiled licenses found.
No licenses found in C:\Program Files\SmartCode Solutions\VNC Manager (Enterprise Edition).

Could not validate license "Enterprise Edition (XXXXX)" in C:\ProgramData\XHEO INC\SharedLicenses\VNCManager.exe.lic.
Detected tampering or unauthorized removal of secure storage.
An unexpected error occurred while validating.
Could not acquire secure storage.

If you see "secure storage" mentioned in the error message, there is a good chance that the problem can be fixed using the steps from the following KB article:
https://support.s-code.com/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/72/1/

Note that the latest build of SmartCode VNC Manager v6.10.3 and newer includes a fix to this problem.
