Is deployment of UltraVNC 1.1.8 server (which has Windows 8 support) on the roadmap? I'm not sure if there are any drawbacks to installing 1.1.x (vs 1.0.x) on Windows 7, Vista, or XP machines. If not, would it be very difficult to re-package 1.1.x and include it for deployments with VNCManager?

Thanks
Jared

Hi Jared,
upgrade to UltraVNC 1.1.8 is on the roadmap. In the 1.1.8 UltraVNC has changed a few things related to the installation procedure, so it would require a bit more time for us to upgrade VNC Manager's UltraVNC MSI package.

Previous UltraVNC release works just fine on Windows 8. I've it installed on my Windows 8 and so far I haven't seen any problems.
