Hi Smartcode, It's been a while since I've been in the forums, that must mean I've been rocking along with the world's greatest IT management tool for a long time! I do have a feature request and possible even a how can I do this manually though, as I'm currently stuck between a rock and a hard place at the moment. Our corporation is widely spread across Australia and New Zealand, we currently have about 65 separate sites (subnets) as part of our MPLS cloud. As you can see, some folders have auto scan enabled some don't. What this means for VNC Manager is I have 65 'Dynamic Search Folders'! We do not use 'My Registered Computers' as we have too many people moving around for this to work. Over the years the configurations of each dynamic search folder have become inconsistent. In particular, the DSF properties page, (Scan For, Enable Auto Scan, Clear Computer List, Skip Already Scanned Comptuer, Resolve IP, Query MAC etc.). I'm currently trying to standardise these properties, and have all of the properties set the same. Unless I'm missing something here, I'm having to manually right click > properties of each individual folder, and manually set the options the same... quite the time waster! What would be absolutely brilliant, an 'apply to all DSF' button, or have the DSF properties be inherited by global settings. Yes there is a global settings, but this only applies to new DSF, not existing. It would appear that once you create a DSF, the settings must be manually set. It would be absolutely amazing that if in Options > Network Scan > Edit Default Settings... there was an 'apply to all existing DSFs' button. ie Here ; I hope that makes sense. Is there any way I can 'hack the system' and make these changes, I've tried performing a 'replace' using notepad on the dynamic_search_folders.xml file, but that doesn't seem to work! Yes I could spend an hour fixing them up, but what if next week our requirements change? I think this would be an amazing feature, and probably not too difficult. ALSO:A new context menu for the root 'Dynamic Search Folders' folder called 'Clear Scanned Computer List for all DSF' would be ace!Keep bringing the goods, SC VNC Manager is still the best IT Management tool I know of! Well done! Warm Regards from Australia Graeme Lucas IT Systems Administrator

Hi, I think we will be able to help you with this problem The registered computer context menu has "Copy Registered Computer Settings..." command that allows to apply settings from one computer to the others. A similar command can be added to the DSF context menu. What do you think about this? "Clear All Dsf Folders" command will be added in the 6.0.24 build that I'm planing to release later today.

Hi Yury, Wow, excellent, that would be perfect! I don't have any 'My Registered Computers' at all, so I cannot seem to find that context menu you're describing, BUT in theory what you've described would work perfectly. If that could be made available that would be amazing! And thanks for adding the clear all context, that too, would be perfect! Thanks so much as always. Graeme Lucas

Copy Dynamic Search Folder Settings command will be implemented also. It’s almost ready, actually. The 6.0.24 will be released on Monday.
