| Thanks for the report! After several attempts I managed to crash it too. We should fix this problem in the next 3.5.17.3 build. PS: since v3.5 is still in Beta, please post v3.5 bug to the corresponding beta forum. I'll move this post to the v3.5 Bugs subforum.

| hi, latest version 3.5.18 doesn't allow ssh on vnc or rdp ; shows "Establishing ssh connection to ip" then popup appears saying no such host is known. i'm using port 222 as ssh not 22 ; maybe this is a problem though it worked in previous candidate release and stable version. i need to use 222 as its connecting to a smoothwall firewall. Cheers Owain

Owain, I just tried to run RDP viewer with SSH server listening on 222 port. It worked just fine.Perhaps it could be a firewall that blocks connections on the port?

I connect on ip and not host name , would that make a difference? It wouldn't. Could it be that the SSH server cannot access RDP server address?

| No and it can't be that as the only thing thats changed is the version of vncmanager im using , same laptop same network same ssh server same rdp server. if i open putty and configure ssh to tunnel rdp to the server then use windows rdp client it works fine.

we are currently investigating another bug report about RDP + SSH port forwarding problem. It's a bit different from your, but I suspecting they might be caused by same bug. I'll let you know about outcome of the investigation.
