We're happy to announce that the first beta version of SmartCode VNC Manager v3.5 has been released and is available for download at:
http://www.s-code.com/products/vncmanag/download.aspx?gdm=1Please, note that this is a beta version and you assume the entire risk of using the beta software. SmartCode VNC Manager v3.5 includes the following new features: - Support for Microsoft Virtual Server.
- Computers Registration Wizard – allows mass register Active Directory, Workgroup computers and .VNC, .RDP files.
- Dynamic search folders: scan for computers responding to Ping request.
- Dynamic search folders: scan Active Directory domains.
- UltraVNC DSM plug-in support.
- Multi-level registered servers folders.
- Installed Software Manager: Allows to view and to uninstall software installed on remote computers. Computer Management Tasks->Installed Software Manager.
- Backup Manager: backups, restores the VNC Manager configuration files.
- Remote Task Manager: provides information about programs and processes running on local or remote computer.
- Remote Execution: Execute commands, cmd, vbscripts and javascripts on remote computer.
- Ported to .Net 2.0 Framework.
- As usual bunch of usability enhancements and bug fixes.
Known issues:
- Microsoft Virtual Server viewer window stays open after disconnect

Should We un-install the old one before installing this one or just install right over it?
No need, the Beta is able to install on top of v2.x-v3.0 installations.

Builds starting from 3.5.17.0 are going to hold Release Candidate tag. From this moment no major new features will be added until 3.5 gets released and we will be concentrating on a bug fixing, implementing some small improvements and tweaks and finishing the Help file. Also we will be adding support for just released UltraVNC v1.0.2.Build 3.5.17.0 includes new killer feature: Remote Execution support.
