Greetings all,

I recently upgraded to enterprise version 5.0.14. Since then, at random times VNCManager.exe uses 100% cpu. I can't seem to put a trigger on it. I don't use the product for anything other then RDP. No remote mangement/scripts/vnc ... etc.

Anybody else having this problem or have any suggestions?

Regards,
Brian

Hi Brian,
could you tell me if you use SSH port-forwarding with your RDP connection? We recently got a report from another user about high CPU% when using RDP + SSH port-forwarding and we are currently investigating this problem?

Also is there any patter about those CPU% spike? Do they occur at the random time intervals or may be there is some consistency in how long it takes for the issue to occur?

Kindest Regards,

Sorry for the delay in responding.

I am not using SSH port forwarding.  I don't have any pattern.  If there is any pattern at all it would seem to be the amount of time an RDP session is active.  I'll keep a closer eye on that to see if there is a specific time.

Thanks for the quick response.

Brian
