Hello,

i experience slow connects to vnc servers (latest ultra or tightvnc). it often takes up to two minutes to connect to the vnc servers. The windows stays white with the message "Connecting to ...".
I checked with the tightvnc viewer and it connects immediatly.
If i before vnc manager has connected to the server the programm freezes and and stays unresponsive till i close it.
In the Eventlog i get this:

To be honest I'm fairly certain that this problem has nothing to do with the VNC Manager. Most probably if you would try to use a native VNC viewer you would get the same results.

I would start debugging this problem by disabling anti-virus and firewall on the remote computer.
Also could it be that for some reason your network drops packets and the 100Mbit connection becomes much slower?

Kindest Regards,
