Hello many thx for implementing this feature.
This is the reason why i bought SmartCode VNC Enterprise.
Now the thing that are not so good.
The speed of ssh client is slow comparing to putty.
The speed am referring is scrolling speed of terminal window.
Next thing I having trouble with Colors in midnight commander,
you can seen the screenshoot.
Also there is the problem with function keys. I did not succeed using
F10 key for exiting midnight commander.
Also MC screen does not fill the hole window.
I am using RC version of SmartCode 5.0.10.0
Thank you

Hi Branco, I'll start with the good news. The upcoming 5.0.11.0 will have correct handling of F10 key implemented. The problem is that in the Windows world F10 shortcut by default activates the first entry on the menu bar. So we had to override this behavior and send F10 key presses to the viewer control instead.PS: Please note. it seems that F10 works in Far/mc only when you establish connection using VT220 or VT320 emulation. The VNC Manager uses Vt100 by default. So you should change the emulation type in a registered computer properties.
With regards of the colors and scrolling speed. We use a third-party .Net control that implements support for various terminals (VT100, 220, etc) and renders the output. So it really out of our control how this terminal emulation control handles colors, etc. The good news is that just today they released the major upgrade and we will be including it in the 5.0.11.0.

Thank you very very much for the quick reply.
I tested the new improved version. And the scrolling speed and performance is much much better .
Unfortunately there are still some issues with Function keys MC/FAR uses lot modifier and combination keys F1..on so on. So my recommendation is to create some disable check box that disable all function and modifier keys (ctrl/alt) for ssh client.
I don't know how putty did it.
Next thing i noticed putty uses by default xterm type
echo $TERM
xterm
Maybe this could be of some help.
In testing this what I find out also.
That you enabled anti aliased fonts in ssh client. This is great for some monitors but some user like my self like this to be disabled for me using Courier New 10pt non anti aliased improves readability so my recommendation is that option exist for disabling anti aliased fonts in ssh client.
This options crashes SmartVNC 5.0.11 RC.

now I run mc

One more BIG Thanks for developing such great product. And current problems with ssh client are just little rabbits comparing to the all other beautiful features of Smartcode vnc manager.
Keep up the good work.

That you enabled anti aliased fonts in ssh client. Really?! Starting with the 5.0.10.0 we switched to a new build of a third-party terminal emulation control, that does all the rendering. Most probably they added the alliasing support in this new version. I don't remember seeing any properties related to font alliasing, but I'll double check.
This options crashes SmartVNC 5.0.11 RC. That's the new third-party control that is crashing I was able to reproduce the problem. It doesn't crash when I try to launch Far, but Mc crashes it all the time. I've found a workaround, if you try to use VT100 encoding Mc will no longer crash the VNC Manager. I'm going to report this problem to the terminal emulation control developers.
One more BIG Thanks for developing such great product. And current problems with ssh client are just little rabbits comparing to the all other beautiful features of Smartcode vnc manager. And thank you for posting those bug reports! They are invaluable

| Good news - the terminal emulation control developers have confirmed that the crash with MC is their fault. We soon should be getting our hands on a new build of control that fixes this issue. UPDATE: Fixed in the 5.0.13.0
