| It would be a great time saver if there was a feature to export settings by folder allowing me to manage all of our users settings within my own console. Currently, I have to backup my settings, delete all of the registered computers that others should not have access to, then backup those settings.. move them to the other users computer, import them... and then restore my original configuration. All of this, of course, requires that we are on the same version and edition. What I would like to see is the ability to export a folder, including or not the sub folders, to a configuration file that can be used to import into another console. This would be much like exporting settings in REGEDIT, but with the added ability to include or not the sub folders. Thank you.

| Hi Ryan, have you seen the Manager \ Import and Export Registered Computers Wizard in the v5.0 Beta? I think it does exactly what you are looking for. In particular the Import part. You can point the wizard to a vnc_servers.xml file and select which groups or particular computers you would want to import. Please give it a try.

I was unable to import from the exported list (as they are not xml format) ... and thus tried to import from a backup xml file.... when attempting that, only the folder structure was restored and not the actual registered computers. I would prefer if we could export to XML and the central user/password store maintains only the passwords needed for the exported registered computers and then imported properly so that they are still centrally managed. I'm running version 5.0.12.1 thanks
