For Immediate Release SmartCode Solutions Announced Today That They Will No Longer Offer SmartCode VNC Manager Single User Lifetime licenses As of August 25th, 2009, SmartCode Solutions will stop selling Lifetime Subscription plans for Single User licenses. The Lifetime subscription will only be sold with “Unlimited Company” licenses. Instead, two new licenses will be available for purchase: - For first time license purchases: a Single User License + a 2 Year Subscription Plan
- For users renewing their SmartCode VNC Manager licenses: a 2 Year Subscription Plan
Customers who purchased Single User Lifetime licenses will not be affected by this change. As promised, all Single User Lifetime licenses will still be honored under the SmartCode Solutions’ lifetime update and support policy.
SmartCode Solutions is announcing this step well in advance of its implementation in order to provide all interested parties with the opportunity to purchase SmartCode VNC Manager Licenses with guaranteed lifetime free updates
