There are no plans to add any specific support for Apple Remote Desktop at the moment. First of all we don't have Macs around. Does anyone willing to donate one? Secondly according to a post in this thread http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview?id=457699
Apple Remote Desktop provides support for native VNC clients. So basically it means that the VNC Manager is compatible with ARD on the basic screensharing level.

Kindest Regards,
