Hi guys,
I'm sure Windows 7 issues are not supported yet so this is more informational than anything.
I'm using a slightly older version, just because it's what we have here at the office, and have had no issues in Vista/XP. I recently upgraded to the Windows 7 Beta and this is the first issue I've run into.
While I fully understand if this is not supported, I'd like to solve this if possible.
Here's the error output:
See the end of this message for details on invoking just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.
************** Exception Text ************** System.AccessViolationException: Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt. at System.Drawing.SafeNativeMethods.Gdip.GdipGetImageThumbnail(HandleRef image, Int32 thumbWidth, Int32 thumbHeight, IntPtr& thumbImage, GetThumbnailImageAbort callback, IntPtr callbackdata) at System.Drawing.Image.GetThumbnailImage(Int32 thumbWidth, Int32 thumbHeight, GetThumbnailImageAbort callback, IntPtr callbackData) at SmartCodeVnc.Options.s.e() at SmartCodeVnc.Options.s.b(Object A_0, EventArgs A_1)
Thanks again for your help.

Hi Jeff, We are aware about this issue. At this time it seems that the bug is actually in the .Net runtime shipped with Windows 7 Beta. In particular in the GetThumbnailImage method. We have already submitted a bug report to Windows7 beta program and awaiting for a response from MS.

Hey there.
Thanks for the quick reply. I'll see what I can figure out with the .NET version. Maybe it can be uninstalled and downgraded.

Good news! It seems that the prolem is fixed in Windows 7 v7048 build. Now VNC Manager can work on Win7 without any problems.
