We have multiple groups of technicians, and each group should only have access to a specific group of computers. I can't find any information on a tiered architecture in the product information.

Essentially, we need each technician to have their own login, and that technician is assigned to a group that only has access to computers within that group. The technicians should have the ability to add machines to their group. Their should be a manager who has access to all underlying groups, or specific groups. Is this possible with VNC Manager?

Hi Matt,
it's possible to share registered computers list among several admins by placing it on a shared location:
Tools->Options->Advanced settings page.

But there is no roles support based on login. And to be honest there are no plans to have such feature implemented. Why reinvent the wheel when you already have Windows login security. A technician would need an admin logon to a remote computer to manage it, so he can simply add the computers he is allowed to manage in his registered computers list.
