Hi
I'm using your ActiveX in an Access program and since registering the product I'm finding that the viewer is only working on one computer at a time.
I've installed the ActiveX and put in the license as per your instructions on every PC.
Essentially what seems to be happening is that when I put the newest version of the control on the form, this control was "bound" to my PC. The other users then complained that it didn't work for them (just a blank box not a control) and I then used their PC to reset up the app.
I then get a call from another user saying they've got the same problem and I check myself and yep, no control??
Any suggestions?

Kevin, there is no bounding or whatever. Actually I'm not sure I understand the problem at all. Do you mean that if to VNC clients observer the same server and only one of them seeing the remote server screen while another is getting the black screen view? If that's the case you should enable Shared Connections in the VNC Server settings.

Sorry that probably didn't make any sense at all!!
I've gone in to design mode in Acces and drag and dropped the SmartCode ViewerX control onto my form and saved the form.
If I use this form to connect to a PC it works fine.
If another user opens the access db from the shared location and trys to connect, the ocx control is blank and the error message "object does not suppot this method or property" is displayed. If you use this pc to go into design mode and check the set up the properties of the ActiveX are mostly blanked out and it's as if Access has no idea what it is.
The weird thing is that if you use this PC to drag and drop the control again on to the form it will work - but all other PCs will then give this error??
Does this make more sense?

Hi
Any update on this issue - strangely I've found a"fix" for it which is to create multiple pages (like the one I sent you) on each PC that is going to use it - one for each.
This seems to work but...

I'm not sure what could cause it, but in the VNC Manager's thumbnail view we create an ViewerX instance for each VNC connection. So a typical user end ups running like 20 or more ViewerX instances on a single form. I don’t see how multiple ViewerX could affect one another; ViewerX doesn’t create any global mutexes or something, which could affect other ViewerX instances.
