Anyway to implement chat or messaging another way besides ms messenger? by default we typically turn off the ms messenger service off, it would be nice to have something that is tightvnc specific in the app to use for messaging between clients and server. Just an idea.

Also, user defined keyboard shortcut keys like ms office apps have, to customize your most frequently used menu commands would be great and very useful. I'm always opening up the computer tasks, open network share, c drive, would be nice to program a shortcut key that i want for that one and others.

Jason, "messenger" service, which is needed for "net send" to work has nothing to do with MSN/Windows Messenger. It's completely different service.
Only UltraVNC provides support for chat feature, other VNC distros don't have such feature.

Customizable shortcuts request starting to appear quite often recently. I'm fairly certain that this feature will be implemented very soon.
