I'm using this program 4 days. For sure is a must if someone has to support 100... pc's/servers.I'll try to report both bugs and what I believe is missing as a feature. Things are simple if someone has to deal with a workgroup or a domain, but supporting different customers with workgroups, domains, and installations all over a country is a complicate task. My personal opinion is that if `VNC MANAGER` expanded to a general remote administration and inventory tool will succeed worldwide. Examples. - Network printers or print servers usually administered with http or Telnet. You already start implement http, maybe telnet is a useful option also.
- Routers with ssh connection.
- Simple hardware automatic inventory.
- Concerning inventory contact details, integration with outlook or at least the ability to import data from a csv/text or similar file will be an asset.
There is an option to export Register computers to a file but NOT the opposite, import from a file. This is very useful if some one had to transfer from another site, ex customer site with VNC MANAGER, the registered computers to his local machine. This will be profitable for you also, cause if I can do that I’ll convince my customer to buy VNC MANAGER also.
================================================================ Bug's Function MOVE to Group when used from dynamic search folders calls the copy function. This means that if you try to move a computer from one registered group to another works fine, but from search folders just call's the copy function.
===================================
Even with today's tools technical support remains difficult.
Let's try to simplify this job

Thank you for your feedback, keep it coming! My personal opinion is that if `VNC MANAGER` expanded to a general remote administration and inventory tool will succeed worldwide. "General remote administration" is one of the goals of the v4.0. We are also have plans to start implementing support for Windows Remote Management (WinRM) protocol that is available in Windows Server 2008 and hopefully will be back ported to Vista and XP.

I guess there is a need to implement the Import command GUI and this is on of a issues we will be addressing in nearest future. Meanwhile it’s possible to migrate registered computers and other settings by simply copying content of the following folder from one computer to another: %USERPROFILE%\Application Data\Smart Code\VNC\Manager\ Function MOVE to Group when used from dynamic search folders calls the copy function. This means that if you try to move a computer from one registered group to another works fine, but from search folders just call's the copy function. Actually in its current implementation this behaviour is by design. But most probably this will be changed in the final v4.0 build. We either will disable Move command or if we'd keep it, then it will perform real "move" operation.

The version of TightVNC included with VNC Manager 4.0.2 is 1.3.8 and not 1.3.9 as indicated. Indeed This will be fixed in v4.0.4.0. If you want to deploy TightVNC v1.3.9, then you can do the following:1) Download the following file: http://s-code.com/download/beta/install_tightvnc1.3.9.exe 2) And copy it into the following folder: C:\Program Files\SmartCode Solutions\VNC Manager (Enterprise Edition)\ This should take care of the problem.

I right clicked a dynamic search folder and choose "Start Network Scan". The scan stopped on a device that was not a PC and would not continue. I stopped the scan, now the "Start Network Scan" option is no longer in the context menu.

Date and Time sorting is incorrect in some dialogs. Like in the Event Viewer, if you click the date/time column, it doesn't sort the hours correctly. It sorts 11:00:00PM before 2:00:00PM instead of after.
