Cool!  I guess the "Last IP" column choice is in beta 2?  When is beta 2 going to be available?

Also, I think I found a bug in beta 1.  I have a few computer with TightVNC installed, all others are UltraVNC.   I changed the deployment in a couple computers from TightVNC to UltraVNC, and for some reason, at a random interval the column for "VNC Distrobution" icon in the lists will sometimes revert back to TightVNC for those computers.  If I rescan them it changes to UltraVNC correctly, but might revert back again.  I'm not sure what causes it to do that yet, it seems random.

Also, in the Deployment Wizard, could it remember previous switches and fields better?  I have to keep typing in my standard VNC password, and that I prefer the viewer installed, no icon tray, etc etc.  Maybe a "save as default" step at the end...  If there is a way to do this, I haven't found it yet.

This is my sig...

I tested the deployment icon thing again.  I did a "Check VNC/RDP Server Status" on the computers in question, and they all returned Ultravnc  and then closed VNC Manager 4.0 beta 1 and reopened.  The three computers in question are now showing TightVNC.  I've got pictures (with company data, so I can't post here) that I'd be glad to e-mail to your guys.  Message me here, or admin e-mail me.

Thanks!

Scott

It seems to be working just fine here. I had UltraVNC installed on a remote computer, and the VNC Manager was showing UltraVNC distribution.
Then I run the Deployment Wizard, which uninstalled UltraVNC and installed TightVNC distribution. Then I hit Ctrl+U shortcut to update the computer status, and it updated Distribution column to TightVNC/RealVNC. Did I miss any steps?

...then close and re-open VNC Manager and the icons (for me) will switch back to TightVNC.  I did have the TightVNC installations done pre-beta test installation, so I'm not sure if that would have anything to do with it.  It's only cosmetic so no biggie...

Having a way to set the time on when you would like to take snapshots would be handy, could set that up for when you weren't going to be in the office, if there is 24 hour coverage, or on a day off. would be nice to see in the final release anyway.

Mike,
starting from the v4.0.3.0 HTTP can be selected as one of the default connection methods for a registered computer.
As for SSH/Telnet, we are considering adding them as an integrated connection methods. Meanwhile, you could add them as an External Tools.

Thanks for implementing the new "aspect ratio" screen stretch mode.  Very nice.

I haven't figured out yet how to make it the default view mode for all computer yet though?  Can I get a hint?

Thanks!
