| I am unable to connect using the DSM plugin with my UltraVNC servers. Once I disable the DSM plugin I can connect fine. Is there some setting I am missing? Please Help!

| Are you getting any errors when trying to establish connection or the connection just hangs? And on what OS are you running VNC Manager? There is one bug in the 3.6.22.0 that might cause DSM connections to fail. If your VNC Manager is configured to open new connections as "Separate Window" then DSM plugin protected connection will fail with "Invalid protocol" message. If that's the case you should switch to Tabbed mode for new connections. We are working on a fix for this problem.

| The connection will just hang, when I disable the DSM plugin it connects properly. The application is running on Windows XP SP2. I also checked to see what the Viewer Session opens as: it has Tab Window selected. I have 7 computers I want to connect to but their rc4.key are located in separate folders for each computer. I have specified the path to the rc4.key for each connection but I still cannot gain access. Thanks for your help.

that's rather strange, after your post we double tested DSM connection support and it seems to be working just fine, except for the separate viewer issue. I assume you are using UltraVNC 1.0.2 with the latest version of MSRC4 DSM plugin installed?

I also have my multiple ports for the separate computers setup like this:
PC1 - 5900
PC2 - 5902
PC3 - 5904
etc..
They are all forwarded on the router and I specified their ports on each connection in the application. They work fine when I disable the DSM plugin. Ill keep trying alternate solutions. Thanks for your help

| Yes it works fine, but I am tired of overwriting the rc4.key file each time i want to remotely connect to another computer, it becomes tedious with 7 computers. I did adjust the settings to allow the connection to open another window and I got alittle farther that way, it actually allowed me to type a password even tho I already specified one. I would like to thank you for your help.
