Uninstall from 3.6.19.x throws error Expand / Collapse

We deployed UltraVNC from version 3.6.18.x to clients throughout our enterprise - also using the uninstall feature. We recently upgraded to the new version, 3.6.19.x. Now, we receive the error,

Exception from HRESULT: 0x800706BE

when trying to uninstall a version which was rolled out using 3.6.1.8.x. This happens on all of our machines.

We were told by tech support to ensure that firewalling was off, ports were open, etc; we have group policies which ensure none of that is a problem.
We don't need to read the faq; none of it applies in this case.
We didn't do any kind of original exotic deployment - everything was very straight forward.

Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

I still believe that this error is not a VNC Manager's bug, but neither the less we would like to try to reproduce the problem locally.

So could you provide us a list of steps to reproduce the problem. Like what version of the VNC Manager you had installed in the first place, what version of UltraVNC was deployed, etc.

I am also getting the same error when uninstalling.  I am using VNC Manager Enterprise edition version 4.0.3.0.  I also had that problem when using version 3.6.24.0.

Here is what I get:

Exception occurred during uninstall: The remote procedure call failed. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x800706BE)
