When i try to connect to a server, but it fails to connect because of "security failure" it somethimes works when you try to start it again. So to do this i mostly keep hitting Enter untill it connects because its some weird connection loss thing of the VNC Server. The problem is, when i have a 2nd tab open thats connected to a computer.. then instead of going back to the select server list it goes to the open computer, because it always goes to the last tab in the row.
What i'd like to see is that when the connection window closses it auto goes to the last tab you wore on. So in this case it would go back to the server list.

Patrick, most probably the next v3.6 will have this behavior implemented.

In addition to this it would be great if you could connect to a server and have it just open in the background without taking you to it (as a configurable option)

What would be a use case for such feature? I do understand that this feature is useful in IE/Firefox, but I'm not sure about the VNC Manager's case

For the same reason you use it it FF/IE - to open it in the background without interrupting what you're currently doing.
I often connect to a group of machines all in one go (a server and a workstation on the same network for example) and I find it annoying that i have to click on one server, then go back, click again, go back etc
(and with the forgetting passwords bug I mentioned in the bug report forum it drives me insane after a few hours!)
