I have always added an External Command as follows:

command: ping.exe

arguments: -t ($server_ip)

I execute this when I have rebooted a server, then I can see when a server has gone down and started coming back up again, and I know I can then connect to it again.

I am sure others would find this useful, so maybe it could become a permanent context menu item.

Alternatively I'd like to have some way to reboot a server and tell Smart VNC Manager to keep monitoring it once a minute or so and automatically reconnect (either through VNC or RDP, whatever is the default for that server) as soon as it notices the server has come back up and the VNC/RDP service restarted successfully. I almost always want to relogin to a box after a reboot, to check that it came back OK, or that whatever change I made that required a reboot happened OK.

Several customers asked about such feature and I'm pretty much sure that we will start working on it soon. The feature won't make it to the v3.0 release, but it should be implemented shortly after the release.

we want to include this feature in the 3.1. But I cannot guaranty at this moment that it will make it to the 3.1 release. But most probably it will.
