| Since all versions of VMware can use VNC to control the Guest how about adding a management part that would keep track of the ports, username and password that get added to the VMX file. It could generate the the three lines that need to be added to the vmx file. It would be a manual process but absolutely simplify the process of keeping track of port numbers and passwords. I outlined the lines that need to be add in Tips and Tricks.
