VNC Manager crashes during VNC sessions. This is different from the GDI+ exception posted earlier - it causes the entire application to shut down. VNC Manager has crashed in this manner three times so far in the 4 hours since I upgaded to 3.5.19.0.

This appears similar to the crashes that I reported in 3.5.16.4, but which seemed to have been resolved in 3.5.17.0

The error signature from my last crash is below...
Event Type: clr20r3 P1: vncmanager.exe P2: 3.5.19.0 P3: 44d73d34
P4: system.drawing P5: 2.0.0.0 P6: 4333aeaf P7: 17e P8: 20
P9: system.argumentexception

I don't know what any of this means, but hopefully it can be helpful to you. If there is a way that i can provide any useful information from these crashes, let me know. In the meantime, I am reinstalling 3.5.18.0 which hadn't caused me any problems before.

The only reason I can think of is that between 3.5.18.0 and 3.5.19.0 we updated Infragistics shared libraries with a new bugfix build they released recently.
The other changes between .18 and .19 builds include fixes to Microsoft Virtual Server viewer and couple other minor fixes and fine tunings. None of them related to the VNC viewer.

By the way are these crashes happening while opening VNC viewer or they happen random while working with VNC viewer?

Please do let us know if rolling back to 3.5.18.0 fixes the problem for you.

Kindest Regards,

The crash occurs while workign with the viewer. Usually 5 or 10 minutes into the session the screen stops refreshing, and when I try to refresh it manually the application closes and Windows displays the error message that I quoted.

I am using 3.5.18 now and so far I have had no problems, but I will let you know.

I've been running v3.5.18 for about a week now and have noticed that while the crashes do still occur, they seem to be much less frequent than in v3.5.19 - perhaps 3 or 4 times over this past week, as compared to once or twice a day in 3.5.19.

Has no one else experienced this issue? As mentioned before, the crashes seem to always occur when the viewer is either in full screen or when using the "stretch remote screen" option; however it is rare that I don't use one of those two display options.
