SmartCode VNC Manager 3.5 Provides Increased Functionality for Managing and Monitoring
Remote Computers

software and consulting, today announced the newest version of its flagship product,
SmartCode VNC Manager 3.5.
SmartCode VNC Manager is a powerful remote administration and monitoring software
application for business and home network environments. It is typically used for
remote network management, remote system administration, and in helpdesk environments.
It allows you to take remote control of any computer running VNC, Windows Terminal
Servers, or Microsoft Virtual Server 2005.
Enhanced Connectivity
SmartCode VNC Manager 3.5 incorporates Microsoft Virtual Server Management with
the new Integrated Virtual Machine Remote Control Client with SSH tunneling support
which provides access to files and applications that reside on a host computer without
extensive configuration on the client PC. SSH tunneling helps encrypt network traffic
reducing the ability of sniffers to capture sensitive data.
Enhanced Network Scanning and Monitoring Capabilities
Smart Code VNC Manager 3.5’s Dynamic Search Folders. Allow you to scan an AD domain,
workgroup, or an IP address range for online computers. While previous SmartCode
versions supported scanning for VNC and RDP servers, version 3.5 includes the ability
to scan for computers responding to a ping command.
Computer Management Improvements
SmartCode VNC Manager 3.5 includes many computer management enhancements allowing for more control over remote computers.
Computers Registration Wizard allows mass register Active Directory, Workgroup computers and by importing comma/tab separated addresses lists from plain text files.
The Remote Task Manager provides information about programs and processes running on a remote computer, providing greater insight into remote computer information to enhance support capabilities.
The Installed Software Manager allows you gain more control by allowing you to view and uninstall software installed on remote computers.
The new Remote Exec allows you to execute commands, cmd, vbscripts, and javascripts on a remote computer without leaving your workplace. This can be useful in the case of an operating system patch installation or execution of the diagnostic tools.
Increased Security
SmartCode VNC Manager 3.5 includes UltraVNC MSRC4 DSM plug-in support. UltraVNC MSRC4 DSM uses 128bit RC4 encryption.
New Backup Manager
SmartCode VNC Manager now includes a Backup Manager that makes it easy to backup and restore your SmartCode VNC Manager configuration files.

VNC Manager 3.5 has a standard list price of $98.94 per Enterprise Edition license
and $35.95 per Standard Edition license. Upgrade pricing is available for existing
customers and volume discounts are offered for quantities of five or more.
